Single entrance test for ME, MTech

Education Assessment and Rating (ERA)  Foundation, a not-for-profit education body, has announced the launch of single entrance exam — UNI-GAUGE PGTech 2015 — for students seeking admission to MTech and ME courses in different universities.  This is a pan-India, computer based test which will be conducted in partnership with TCS iON. ERA will provide a score and it will be used as one of the criteria for admission to participating Universities/Institutions. With this test candidates seeking admission to MTech and ME courses now have the facility to write a single exam and apply for admission to many universities (participating with ERA). 

The qualifying examination for admission to MTech or ME course is BE/BTech or equivalent examination recognised by State/Central Government. Uni-GAUGE PGTech 2015 will be conducted in about 16 major cities and towns of India. The last date for submitting online application is June 22, 2015. The exam will be conducted on July  4, 2015.
