Chandigarh, July 24
Harinder Singh Khalsa, Member of Parliament, AAP, today asked Himmat Singh Shergill, head of the legal unit of the party in the state, to show evidence of alleged financial deal of Khalsa with the Akalis for working against the AAP.
Khalsa said he had served a defamation notice to Shergill on his claims before mediapersons here a few days ago that Khalsa was bought by the Badals to work for anti-party activities. Shergill had claimed in the press conference that he had ‘solid information’ about the deal, which he would share with the leadership. Khalsa in his notice asked Shergill to furnish the “evidence” within 24 hours of receipt of this notice or tender an “unconditional apology for making false and reckless allegations”. — TNS
