BSP announces list of 10 candidates

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) announced the list of 10 candidates for the upcoming MC elections.

Among the key candidates, BSP Chandigarh unit president Jagir Singh will contest from Ward No. 7 (Maloya).

Names of the candidates were announced after the meeting of party’s senior leaders in Sector 49.

The party has fielded Shiteejit Sharma (Ward No.1), Parvesh Devi (Ward No.5), Jagir Singh (Ward No.7), Naresh Chalia (Ward No.14), Shiksha Kumari (Ward No.15), Kapil Bhardwaj (Ward No.18), Jahid Sikandar (Ward No.19), Surjit Singh (Ward No. 21), Brijpal (Ward No. 23) and Net Ram (Ward No. 26). Jagir Singh said the party in the last MC poll in 2011 had won two seats and this time they would try to win maximum seats in the elections.
