National BJP spokesperson Vijay Sonkar Shastri today accused the Congress of resorting to undemocratic behaviour in Parliament which had resulted in stalling of important Bill like the land Acquisition and the GST.
Addressing a press conference here today, Shastri said it was due to the unruly behaviour of the Congress that the entire Parliament session was washed out. “The Congress seems to be helpless before an adamant Rahul Gandhi,” he remarked.
He said such irresponsible behaviour only proves the fact that the Congress has always been anti-poor as the passing of the Land Acquisition Bill would have paved the way for granting of land to the houseless and landless.
He said the BJP regime at the Centre had chalked out a plan to provide shelter and housing to every individual by 2023, which is bound to be delayed now due to the Congress party.
He announced that the BJP would launch a campaign to expose the irresponsible behaviour of the Congress by going to the masses. “One BJP union minister and four MPs would visit each parliamentary constituency from October 2 to December 25 to apprise the people of the irresponsible behaviour of the Congress,” he said.
