Cong minority cell executive panel chosen

Samuel Chandra, president of the Congress minority cell, announced the executive committee members of the party at a small function held at Radha Krishan Temple, Mussoorie, today.

Taukir Ahmed, Sardar Harbhajan Singh Thukral, Jasbir Kaur and Javed Khan were named the patrons of the minority cell while Mohd Hashim and Rohit Prasad were named vice-president.

Rafiq Ahmed has been named secretary, Mohd Qamil Ali joint secretary while Zaqi Ahmed was made treasurer. Ravinder Bajwa, Habib Ahmed, Javed Ali, Mohd Aslam, Pankaj Jain, Anees Ahmed, Mohd Nayeem and Mohd Faisal have been named executive members of the cell.

Congress Mussoorie president Satish Dhaundiyal congratulated the newly inducted team and appealed to them to gear up for the 2017 Assembly elections in the state so that the party could emerge victorious.—TNS
