Former PPCC secy Malhotra joins AAP

Fatehgarh Sahib, January 2

In yet another jolt to the Congress, Pradeep Malhotra, former secretary of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC), along with his supporters, joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) here today. Malhotra joined AAP in the presence of party Lok Sabha in charge Alok Verma and observer Sunil Tomar.

Verma said persons with a clean image were welcome in the party. He said they were ready to contest from all 117 segments in the 2017 elections. He said they had divided the state in 13 zones and that booth-level committees had been set up. — TNS
