‘Maha Sampark Abhiyan’ launched by BJP in state

Jammu, May 14

The BJP’s “Maha Sampark Abhiyan” was launched by state president and Lok Sabha member, Jugal Kishore Sharma, along with Union Minister of State (MoS) in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Dr Jitendra Singh, here today.

Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said, “It is a matter of pride that the BJP has become the largest political party in the world after the successful completion of the BJP membership drive.”

He said the Maha Sampark Abhiyan of the BJP had been launched in the entire nation by BJP national president Amit Shah and the same would further strengthen the party at grassroot level.

Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh countered allegations of other political parties and said the BJP had formed governments in those states where minority communities constituted majority population like in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Goa etc.

He said the NDA-led Narendra Modi government always worked and talked about the development of 125-crore Indians and believed in to work for all section of society, never believed in the appeasement policy.

“Even after the formation of government here in Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP in no case compromised over its basic principles and ideology,” he said, adding that, “We had formed the government in J&K on the agenda of development for all three regions and all sections of society.”

Rajya Sabha member Shamsher Singh Manhas, Minister for State for Education and Information Priya Sethi, MLC Ashok Khajuria, Col Uttam Singh and Ramesh Arora (MLC), Ashok Koul, Karan Singh, Jammu West MLA Sat Sharma, Jammu East MLA Rajesh Gupta (MLA), Subash Jandial, Vikram Randhawa and others were present on the occasion.
