Modi’s demonetisation move hailed by other countries, says BJP’s Satpal Maharaj

Satpal Maharaj, MP from Uttarakhand and a former Union Minister, who is also the national executive member of the BJP, today said other countries were also adopting the demonetisation initiative taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He was addressing a press conference in Chandigarh.

Satpal Maharaj said it was clear that the entire world was appreciating the demonetisation move and Venezuela was one country which had introduced demonetisation after it was done in India. He added, even in Pakistan, the opposition had demanded demonetisation be adopted while South Africa was also proposing to introduce the same. he further said the USA had also introduced some changes in the dollar.

While commenting on local issues, Satpal ji Maharaj said it was during the tenure of the BJP that city Mayor Arun Sood and MP Kirron Kher had managed to bring about a lot of development in the city.
