Pathania hits out at Mankotia at CM’s rally

Dharamsala, January 18

Vice-Chairman of the Forest Corporation Kewal Singh Pathania today attacked senior Congress leader Vijai Singh Mankotia and BJP MLA from Shahpur Sarween Chaudhary. Pathania, during the rally of the CM at Rait in Shahpur, targeting Mankotia said there were certain leaders who released Virbhadra’s CD to tarnish his image. They also tried to contest the election from two Assembly constituencies but were rejected by the people. Despite their best efforts, Virbhadra Singh was given clean chit by the court in the CD case.

Mankotia, who had carried out a campaign against Virbhadra Singh, rejoined the Congress during the last Assembly elections after burying his hatchet with him. He was allotted the party ticket last time over Pathania. Mankotia, however, lost the election.

Targeting Sarween Chaudhary, Pathania said she was wrongly claiming that the schemes, being inaugurated today, were her priority schemes. He said the schemes that were inaugurated by the CM today were those for which he had laid the foundation stones about a year ago. She said Sarween, despite being the Cabinet Minister, failed to bring any major project for Shahpur. — TNS
