The faculty of management studies of the University of Delhi has invited application for admission test for MBA and PhD programmes for session 2016

Eligibility: Candidates applying for admission to the Two Year Full-Time MBA must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of bachelor's degree may also apply.

Candidates, seeking admission to FMS Doctoral Programme are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT-2015) conducted by Indian Institutes of Management on November 29, 2015, unless exempted as per stipulations provided in FMS Information Bulletin. Candidates exempted from the admission test are required to apply on a prescribed application form along with a demand draft of Rs250 drawn in favour of “The Registrar, University of Delhi” by 29th February 2016. How to apply: Applicants can register themselves through FMS website www.fms.edu by filling up online registration form and by paying the requisite fee of Rs1000 for each programme, by November 15, 2015. Admission to MBA programme will be based on Extempore Speech, Personal Interview & CAT-2015 score (Common Admission Test conducted by Indian Institutes of Management on 29th November 2015). Applicants who have not taken CAT-2015 will not be considered for admission.

Admission to PhD. programme will be based on academic performance, essay writing and personal interview of the eligible candidates.

Master’s in Public Health programme

The Faculty of Health Sciences at UK-based Staffordshire University is inviting applications for its Master’s in Public Health (MPH) programme. The MPH is an internationally recognised qualification in public health and the course is designed to expand the knowledge and skills required for practice in the fields of public and community health. It is a Distance Learning course which takes a minimum of 2 years to complete.

The Course: The programme provides an in-depth coverage of subjects like epidemiology, statistics, communicable disease control, health promotion and public health policy. After enrolling into the course, students are invited to attend a one day induction workshop at Staffordshire University campus, though this is not mandatory. Exams for modules are held online.

Eligibility: Applicants to this course should ideally have an honours degree of class (2:1) or above.

They should also have at least one year’s professional experience of working in a public health role, community, government setting or similar.

Since each application is considered on merit basis, other relevant qualifications and experience will also be considered.

Accreditation of Prior Achievement can be considered for applicants with a professional qualification.

For English Language proficiency, an overall IELTS score of 7.0 in reading and writing is required; TOEFL score of 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based) or a minimum of 100 (internet-based) is accepted; Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English Grade B is also accepted.
