English assessment test
Online assessment and campus hiring platform CoCubes Technologies launched a Written English Test (WET) recently. The test will focus on assessing the ability of candidates to use English language for written communication. WET weighs their written English on five parameters - syntax, vocabulary, sentence construction, complexity and relevance to the subject matter.
The test assesses written English through reliable algorithms of language processing that take into account various complexities of English grammar and its contextual usage. The score indicates the ability to write English language in its correct form and with appropriate balance of construction.
As the test is conducted online without any paperwork and manual intervention, it generates an accurate assessment of candidate's English ability. WET, which is customisable as per recruiters specifications of topic, time and word limit, will help human resource managers by filtering suitable candidates for the given job profiles. The employers will be in a sound position to make an informed choice from the pool of job applicants.
