Medical technology courses

The Delhi Paramedical & Management Institute (DPMI), New Delhi, invites application for new degree and diploma courses in medical laboratory technology. These courses include Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), Diploma in Medical X-Ray Technology (DMRT), Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT) and Bachelor of Science in Medical Lab Technology (BSCMLT).

Duration: Diploma courses are of one year and degree courses are of three year duration.

Eligibility: Minimum qualification for securing admission is Plus II pass in any stream from a recognised board.

Army Institute of Fashion and Design

Applications have been invited by Army Institute of Fashion & Design (AIFD), Bangalore for admission to the BSc. (Fashion & Apparel Design), Master’s in Fashion and Apparel Design (MFAD) -

Eligibility: Applicants for the UG course should have cleared Plus II or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 35 per cent aggregate marks from a board recognised by UGC/university. Minimum 50 per cent marks in graduation is a must for those applying for PG course.

The applicants must fall into one of the following categories:

n Children of serving Army personnel with minimum 10 years continuous service in the Army (Submit Certificate No 1).

n Children of ex Army personnel granted / awarded regular pension, liberalized family pension, family pension or disability pension at the time of their superannuation, demise, discharge, release medical board / invalided medical board. This includes wards of recruits medically boarded out and granted disability pension. (Submit Certificate No 1).

n Adopted/step children and children of remarried widows

How to apply: The prospectus with application form can be obtained by the candidates from the office of AIFD Bangalore, ITI B Area, Dooravani Nagar, Old Madras Road, Bangalore-560016 through requisition along with a crossed demand draft for Rs550 in favour of ARMY INSTITUTE OF FASHION & DESIGN payable at Bangalore.
