New industry-relevant courses with global edge

The Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) and VELS University have introduced three new internationally accredited bachelor programmes from the globally recognised University of Sunderland, UK.

These unique twinning courses are open for immediate admission, at the MDIS-VELS campus in Chennai.  The courses open for admissions are:

• Bachelor of Science (Hons) International Tourism and Hospitality Management (Top-Up)
• Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Business and Marketing (Top-up)
• Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Accounting and Financial Management (Top-Up)

Education loans from reputable financial institutions are available and students may enquire directly with MDIS VELS. “The industry-relevant courses that MDIS-VELS offers equip students with skills and competencies that are in-demand by industries now. These skills will enhance students’ career prospects upon graduation and accelerate their career progression,” said Dr R Theyvendran, Secretary-General of MDIS.

The three new Bachelor courses are available from September 2016. Students will reap the benefits of seminar and training programmes instructed by international faculty from MDIS Singapore and hands-on training with leading companies in India.
