Soft skills training
Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology (RIET), Jaipur, invites applications for a soft-skills training programme for various job roles in the telecom industry. The programme is being offered in collaboration with the Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC). The courses will provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge about every aspect of the telecom industry and make them eligible through certification.
About the programme: A Training Program that will allow students from diverse backgrounds to gain basic concepts and knowledge in the Telecom industry.
How to apply: The dates for applying will be in two phases for every month — Phase-1 (dates 1st and 2nd) and Phase-2 (dates 15th -16th). This programme will emphasise mostly on the technical know-how that are required for building a successful career in the telecom industry. It will train students in advanced, comprehensive practical skills and techniques employed for specialised applications in the telecom industry. Both RIET and TSSC will jointly identify the job role that is necessary for training and placement for the students.

Kendall College of Culinary Arts, Chicago, invites applications for baking and pastry programme for its summer 2015 session. The college offers a curriculum that combines strong academics with practical experience that help give graduates the skills and expertise to be leaders in their professions. Associate of Applied Science Degree in Baking and Pastry is a six-quarter programme that prepares students to enter the baking and pastry profession with confidence. MSc Automotive Systems Engineering
The Department of Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering at UK’s Loughborough University is inviting applications for MSc in Automotive Systems Engineering course. Ranked 11th for its aeronautical and manufacturing engineering by the Times Good University Guide 2015, the department is a specialist centre within one of the UK’s largest engineering universities.
The course: The one-year full-time programme, accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, has been devised for students interested in the automotive industry with knowledge and technical expertise in a wide range of automotive disciplines. The curriculum consists of three compulsory core modules on Vehicle and Powertrain Functional Performance, Vehicle Systems Analysis and Manufacturing Systems and Integrated Design. Students can additionally choose three modules from a choice of five. The full-time programme also involves a university-based project for the students to work on.
Eligibility: Students who wish to apply for the programme must have a first class degree in engineering or physical sciences. In exceptional circumstances, lower academic standards may be compensated by experience in the automotive industry.
