Zirakpur, June 13

The PSPCL has started preparations to deal with the peak summer season.

While issuing an advisory, the PSPCL stated that it had set up a 24x7 control room at Mohali Circle, Zirakpur division, for the convenience of its consumers.

Disclosing this here today, Zirakpur XEN Kulwinder Singh said consumers were requested to register electricity supply related complaints or obtain power-related information from phone numbers of the areas concerned.

The XEN said action would be taken by the official concerned on receiving any complaint on 1912. In case consumers were still not satisfied, they could call at the control room numbers in their respective regions.

He further said the main motive was to redress the complaints at the earliest. The main task of the control room would be to send teams in different localities from where the complaints were being filed.

Residents can register any power-related complaint either by contacting the divisional office of the PSPCL or by dialing 1912.

The advisory further read that in case consumers faced any problem while registering complaints and if the staff denied to register their complaints, or relevant information regarding electricity supply was not provided, they could contact the Executive Engineer of their respective circle level.
