Arms and ammunition recovered from under-construction house in Patiala

PATIALA: The Patiala police have recovered arms and ammunition, including grenades and detonators, from a house undergoing construction in the city which belongs to an Army officer.

The Patiala police have recovered arms and ammunition, including grenades and detonators, from a house undergoing construction in the city which belongs to an Army officer.

The police said the arms were recovered on Wednesday after which a case against unidentified persons was registered at the Civil Lines police station.

The police said arms and ammunition, including an AK 47, a stain gun, and other rifles along with live cartridges, were recovered from a house under construction in Officers’ Colony in the city.

They said the area has been cleared after a bomb squad was called to diffuse the bombs safely.

The police have also contacted the Army to check whether the Army has details of the guns recovered.
