Domestic help poisons actress

Garima Goel of Sab TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, and her family was poisoned by their domestic help in Mumbai. The actress, her husband Dharmesh Thakkar and son Akshayae survived due to timely action and recuperating in hospital.

Garima said, “The food cooked by our servant, Santosh, tasted unusual and the colour was a bit different. After eating a little, we became unconscious. I felt as if someone was choking me. Even my husband complained of a paralytic attack. Luckily, my brother did not eat the food, so he called an ambulance.” The servant, who is absconding, could not be immediately identified as the family is under treatment and their statement is yet to be recorded.
