Father-in-law booked for woman’s rape

Sangrur: The police have registered a rape case against a man on the complaint of his daughter-in-law. ASI Santokh Singh said the victim from Ghabdan village has alleged that her father-in-law Bachan Singh had been raping her for the past six months. Biker killed in mishap

Sangrur: One person was killed and another injured on Saturday night near Ratola after their motorcycle was hit by a speeding vehicle. The police have registered a case. Lavpreet Singh, along with his friend Sukhchain Singh, was going to Chaundha village on his motorcycle when they were hit by an unidentified vehicle. Lavpreet died in Malerkotla hospital. TNS
