The seven-day Hola Mohalla festival concluded with a procession by Nihangs in Anandpur Sahib followed by display of martial arts and horse riding skills here on Friday.
The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee authorities said more than 30 lakh people from different parts of the country as well as abroad participated in the festival.
Hundreds of Nihang Sikhs led by Baba Budha Dal chief Baba Babir Singh took out a procession (mohalla) on horses from Gurdwara Shaheedi Bagh to Charanganga stadium where they displayed martial arts and horse riding skills.
The police rounded up a few youths for raising slogans in favour of Khalistan and displaying banners regarding proposed controversial referendum 2020. The suspects were allowed to leave after a few hours of questioning. TNS
