The Punjab State Freedom Fighters Descendants’ Association today announced to gherao the Kotbhai police station on August 5 if the authorities failed to arrest the accused, who allegedly thrashed Jagrup Singh, grandson of freedom fighter Giani Labh Singh.
“The Kotbhai police must arrest the accused by August 4. We also demand strict action against Kotbhai Station House Officer Krishan Kumar, who, at the behest of Congress leaders, subjected Jagrup to third degree torture. We want immediate suspension of all accused cops,” said HS Khalsa, president of the association.
