Garhi is state BSP chief

The BSP today announced to appoint Jasvir Singh Garhi (39) as its state party chief.

Hailing from Garhi Kanugo village in Balachaur subdivision of Nawanshahr, Jasvir Singh quit his job as Veterinary Inspector with the Department of Animal Husbandry three days ago to join the post.

A postgraduate in Public Administration and Diploma holder in Veterinary Sciences, he had served on the post for over 18 years before taking a plunge in politics. — TNS
