Gurdwara priest held for sodomy

Faridkot: The police on Wednesday booked a preacher of a gurdwara on sodomy charge. Avtar Singh Sadhawala, who had prominently participated in protests against a sacrilege incident here two year ago, has been booked for sexually exploiting a teenage boy at Sadhawala village of the district. The victim alleged that he had been abusing him for the last two years while threatening him to get his family eliminated. The matter was reported to the police after the boy’s father overheard the victim and the accused having a telephonic conversation. oc
