Chandigarh, July 11

Education Minister Aruna Chaudhary today said the Education Department was developing a software, which would enable teachers to apply for leave besides getting other approvals online.

The minister further said the department had set a target of three months to develop the software and make it operational. After the portal becomes operational, teachers would not have to make rounds of the authorities to seek approvals, she added. — TNS
