Liquor, bhang overdose kills two labourers

Two migrant labourers from Barauli village died at the Civil Hospital, Dera Bassi, due to over-consumption of cannabis (bhang) and liquor.

The deceased, Bagirath Paswan (35) and Ukeen Paswan (30), who hailed from Bihar, were currently staying in a one-room house at Barauli village. They were brought to the Civil Hospital by their family members after they fell unconscious.

Their brother Jai Lal Paswan told the police that Bagirath and Ukeen had returned from their work around 7 pm on Thursday and had dinner as usual.

After that they consumed bhang and countrymade liquor and went to sleep.
