Congress MLA Dr Harjot Kamal and his four security guards underwent a dope test at the district hospital in Moga on Thursday. The chemical examination report came out negative, ruling out addiction. The MLA demanded that SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal and former minister Bikram Majithia should also undergo the dope test.
Earlier in the day, Congress leader Manish Tewari said the government should extend the mandatory drug test to all classes of public servants, including lawmakers.

Congress MPs Chaudhary Santokh Singh and Ravneet Bittu said they had no issues about subjecting themselves to a dope test. — TNS
