He added that against the directions of the Akal Takht, Gurbani Gutkas were got published from a private publisher. As per the directions of the Akal Takht only SGPC is allowed to publish Guru Granth Sahib. He alleged that the Namdhari gutkas “distorted” Ardas and contained words against the Sikh ideology.

He objected to the use of word “Namdhari Nitnem” over Gurbani Gutka. He added that it was a historic fact that Guru Arjan Dev compiled and edited the Guru Granth Sahib, but he did not mention his name in the holy book. “So writing Namdhari Gutka over Gurbani Gutka is a serious mistake,” he averred.

He stated that all these words, statements and other information in the Namdhari Gutka had hurt the religious sentiments of the Sikhs.
