Bihar CM Nitish Kumar today paid obeisance at Gurdwara Ber Sahib here. He listened to kirtan and was presented a ‘siropa’ by SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal.

Nitish later visited the holy Beri, SGPC’s Diwan Hall venue and Sant Seechewal’s Nirmal Kutia. Stating that Guru Nanak had visited Bihar during one of his Udasis, he said it was due to the immense respect that Guru had in Bihar, that he had been keen on participating in the celebrations. — TNS
