NRI found dead in Goraya hotel

Phagwara: Italy-based NRI Surjit Singh (47), resident of Ucha Pind village in Phagwara, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a room of a hotel at Goraya on Thursday. Parminder Singh, station house officer, Goraya, said the deceased went to Canadian Hotel at 11 am and booked a room. He was found dead around 4.30 pm. He was wearing just shorts. The SHO said two young girls were seen in CCTV footages of the hotel. The deceased came to India only 20 days. His wife and children were in Italy. OC
