Activists said on a call of the Kul Hind Kisan Mazdoor Sabha, a decision has been taken to the hold a protest dharna at the district centres on July 30.

PMU activist and state leader Kashmir Singh Ghugshore said apart from their own organisation, the meeting shall be attended by the Yuva Morcha, Naujawan Bharat Sabha, BSP, Punjab Students Union among others.

He said despite repeated demands by them, action had still not be initiated against the persons responsible for the attacks against the activists.

They said the attacks were a part of the conspiracy against landless labourers by a coterie of the village feudal lords, and bureaucrats.
