Ponty Chadha’s son nabbed at airport
New Delhi, June 13
The son of late liquor baron Ponty Chadha, Manpreet Singh Chadha, was arrested from the Delhi airport in a real estate fraud case, an official said on Thursday.
Manpreet was produced before Metropolitan Magistrate Paras Dalal when the court rejected his bail application, saying thousands of investors were affected and only a few had approached the court. He has been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days.
He was detained at the airport when he was leaving for Phuket on Wednesday night, said ACP (Economic Offences Wing) Suvashis Choudhary.
