Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant today got anticipatory bail in a case relating to hurting religious sentiments of the Valmiki community.
Granting the bail, Sessions Judge Gurbir Singh ordered her to surrender before the trial court on August 7 and furnish surety bonds to the satisfaction of the court.
Earlier, Judicial Magistrate Vishav Gupta had cancelled the bail given to the actress following her failure to appear in the court on July 7.
Rakhi is facing accusations of hurting religious feelings of the Valmiki community by speaking against Bhagwan Valmiki. A complaint on the matter was filed by local lawyer Narinder Adya.
