President’s Police Medal for ADGP Kalra, Inspector Sood

Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Welfare, Sanjeev Kalra and Inspector, Security Wing, Sandeep Sood have been chosen for the President’s Police Medal for distinguished services on Republic Day.
Besides, 15 more police officials, including Additional Inspector General (AIG), Vigilance Bureau and Ashish Kapoor, SSP Varinder Singh Brar, will get Police Medals for meritorious services.
A spokesperson for the state police said Anil Joshi, AIG (CID), Chandigarh; Sukhdev Singh Kahlon, AIG Telecommunication, Punjab, Chandigarh; Harmohan Singh, AIG, Personnel-III, Punjab, Chandigarh; Ajay Maluja, AIG (Counter Intelligence), Bathinda; Gurdev Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Ludhiana; Manpreet Singh, DSP (Investigation) Kapurthala; Sanjeevan Guru, Inspector; Bikram Singh, Inspector (Intelligence); Ganesh Kumar, Inspector (Security Wing); Jasvir Kaur, Inspector (SSP office), Barnala; Gurmeet Kaur, SI (IGP office), Patiala; Ashwani Kumar, SI (IGP office), Ferozepur, and Dharamvir Singh ASI (Commando Battalion), Bahadurgarh, Patiala, had also been awarded with Police Medals for meritorious services.
