Punjabi grandfather beats cancer, celebrates by giving candies away in Canada; watch

For Canadian Manveer Grewal, this Halloween was special. His Punjabi grandfather just beaten back cancer and he was helping him celebrate the festival by giving away candy to trick-or-treaters.

In a tweet, Manveer shared an eight-second clip of his grandfather eagerly waiting for children to arrive. He wrote: “My grandpa just recently won his battle with cancer and I've never seen him so excited to give out candy to kids. Pls come to our house.”

The clip received over a million views over night. 

In another tweet, Manveer revealed how his grandfather “wishes he could give”e everyone candy. He said: “After 20 mins of explaining the Internet and Twitter to my grandpa, he finally understands the level of support he's gotten and says he wishes he could give all of you candy. To every person that stopped to show support, I love and appreciate you for making our day :).”
