‘Ram Siya ke’ makers agree to share script

The controversy over depiction of Bhagwan Valmiki in the TV serial “Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush” being telecast on Colors channel is heading for a solution with the producers of the show agreeing to share the script of the serial before its production with representatives of the Valmiki community.

This was decided in a meeting between the show producers, representatives of the community led by Raj Kumar Verka and Dr Gejja Singh, DGP Intelligence VK Bhawra and chaired by Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Satish Chandra here today.

Chandra had called the meeting to resolve the deadlock over the issue after the Valmiki community members took to streets to protest against the serial.
