The Punjab and Himachal Pradesh governments have decided to revive the Anandpur Sahib-Naina Devi ropeway project.
Tourism and Culture Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu said on Friday that an MoU signed between the two states to connect the Khalsa’s birthplace to the Hindu shrine had been scrapped in 2014. “We will sign a fresh MoU later this month,” he said.

The cost of the 3.5-km project will be about Rs 200 crore. — TNS
