Sukhbir Singh Badal, SAD chief, today announced new party structure, while making a few changes in the SAD office-bearers in a bid to boost the morale of the party rank and file.
He said former CM Parkash Singh Badal would continue as the patron of the party and the party MP and senior Akali leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa would remain the secretary general.
Releasing the new list of vice-presidents, Sukhbir said 14 senior leaders who had been appointed vice-presidents were Ranjit Singh Brahmpura, Balwinder Singh Bhunder, Tota Singh, Upinderjit Kaur, Maheshinder Singh Grewal, Prem Singh Chandumajra, Nirmal Singh Kahlon, Janmeja Singh Sekhon, Charanjit Singh Atwal, Sewa Singh Sekhwan, Adaish Partap Singh Kairon, Daljit Singh Cheema, Naresh Gujral and Sharanjit Singh Dhillon.
Sukhbir said 13 leaders who had been appointed general secretaries were Ratan Singh Ajnala, Bikram Singh Majithia, Parminder Singh Dhindsa, Sohan Singh Thandal, Jeet Mahinder Singh Sidhu, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Iqbal Singh Jhunda, Pawan Kumar Tinu, Gurpartap Singh Wadala, Manpreet Singh Ayali, Harmeet Singh Sandhu, Gaganjit Singh Barnala and Harpreet Singh Kotbhai. — TNS
