Spurious milk factory busted

The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) along with a team of the Health Department today busted a spurious milk-manufacturing factory at Dhaula village of the district and seized 150 kg spurious milk.
After a tip-off, a CIA team, led by its incharge Baljit Singh, raided the house of Kulwinder Singh at Dhauala village today and caught him preparing spurious milk.
“We have seized 150 kg spurious milk, 36 kg chemical, 21 kg Malto powder, 26 kg skimmed milk, 25 kg glucose, 14 kg refined oil and 15 kg urea,” said Inspector Baljit Singh.
During preliminary investigation, it has come to light that the seized spurious milk was being supplied to surrounding towns, including Dhanaual and Tapa. “We have registered a case against Kulwinder Singh,” he said.
