The second-year students, 101 in all, said they were entangled in a legal fight with the CMCH management for their shifting, so they were not prepared to take the examinations.

The students claimed the classes were not held properly; so they lacked the theoretical and clinical knowledge to take the exams.

Dr SP Singh, Controller (Examination), BFUHS, said: “Students have 75 per cent attendance for the session and have taken class tests. So, there is no reason for postponing the examinations.”

“Students never complained to the university about the improperly held classes,” he added.

The students alleged the college authorities had been threatening them for the past more than a year because of which they were unable to raise their problems. Their exam centre will be CMCH.

Students demanded their exams should be postponed on the pattern of students of Gian Sagar Medical College. But the BFUHS said the exam of Gian Sagar students were postponed because their college was closed down, said the authorities.
