Punjabi singer Parmish Verma, friend shot at in Mohali

Punjabi singer Parmish Verma was shot at in Mohali on Friday night. He was admitted to Fortis Hospital.

The singer shot into fame with his song ‘Gaal Nahin Kadni’.

Verma and a friend were shot at on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday in Mohali.

Sources said both Parmish and his friend were rushed to Fortis Hospital in Phase 8, where they were currently undergoing treatment.

According to sources, the duo was returning to their residence when the incident occurred. A police official said a bullet hit Parmish’s leg, but he was out of danger.

Meanwhile, one Dilpreet Singh Dhahan has claimed to be behind Parmish Verma’s shooting.

On a Facebook page, Dhahan uploaded a status with a picture of him holding a revolver and another picture of Verma with a cross drawn across it.

“I, Dilpreet Singh Dhahan, want to tell everyone that I am behind the shooting of Parmish Verma,” he claims in the post.
