New Delhi, July 1
Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday returned to India after spending a vacation abroad with his maternal grandmother and family.
Gandhi had flown abroad on June 13. He also celebrated his 47th birthday, on June 19, during the foreign visit.
The BJP had mocked Rahul Gandhi while he was away on his Italy visit.
Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan took a jibe at the Congress vice-president stating that the former would be blaming Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government over all his developments even while sitting in Italy.
“One of my close companions (Rahul Gandhi) has gone to Italy for a holiday to visit his grandmother; I guess even from there he would be blaming the Modi government for all the developments that we have done so far,” Pradhan had said. — Agencies
