The Chief Minister while presiding over a meeting of officials of Bageshwar district last evening emphasised on maintaining the quality of development projects so that people were benefited for long term. He directed them to use fully funds released under the district plan.

He expressed displeasure with the working of the PWD and the Jal Sansthan as only 70 per cent of funds allocated to these departments under the district plan had been utilised. The Chief Minister also focused on making the district plan more effective and directed the officials to declare Bageshwar a Nirmal district till 2017. A total of 14,000 toilets would be constructed across the district for the purpose.
