Mohali: To seek the blessings of the Almighty for the board classes, Sukhmani Sahib path was organised at AKSIPS-65, Mohali, with full devotion and reverence. Ardas was made and "karah parsad" was distributed among all. A special assembly was also organised to mark the festivities. Toddlers dressed in traditional Punjabi attires welcomed everybody with their cute greetings, followed by a talk on Lohri presented by Tanisha of Class IX. A Punjabi folk song was presented by Einstein House students. A speech on 'Save the girl child' was given by the chief coordinator.

Chandigarh: To celebrate National Youth Day, various activities were organised with full enthusiasm by the Peace Club and NSS Units of Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 38 (West), Dadu Majra Colony, Chandigarh, on its premises. An interactive session, poster making, slogan writing and essay writing competitions were organised on the topic 'Moral Values' in the context of Swami Vivekananda followed by an awareness rally which was flagged off by school vice-principal Rajinderpal Kaur.
