Senior citizen dies in mishap

Rattan Chand, a retired headmaster and resident of Karsain village in the bangana subdivision, died today after being hit by a tempo traveller in Lathiani village on the Una-Bhota road.

The victim was on a scooter when he was reportedly hit by the vehicle from behind. A case has been registered at the Bangana police station against the driver of the tempo traveller, police sources said. — OC
