After romancing Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor will next be seen opposite Shraddha Kapoor in Mohit Suri’s Half Girlfriend. The makers have also announced the release date which is October 7. The film is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel.

Confirming the news of the film, Balaji Motion Pictures wrote on its social media, “. @balajimotionpic, @mohit11481 and @chetan_bhagat’s #HalfGirlfriend will release on 7th October 2016.

The story is based on a boy from the rural backdrop who falls in love with a Delhi girl. Arjun will portray the character of Madhav Jha, while Shraddha will be play Riya Somani.
