Counselling session

A counseling session was held at Ashmah International School, Mohali, for relieving the exam stress of students. They were counseled to remain stress free and improve their earlier performance by adopting stress buster technique like walking, running or exercising, listening to music, meditation, proper sleep, eating healthy food, time management and accurate study material etc. Students were also motivated to understand the things rather than cramming. Principal Amarpreet Kaur said children who experience stress may be irritable, not sleeping well, lose interest in food, worry a lot, and appear depressed or negative. Headaches and stomach pains can also be stress-related. She later told simple tips to de-stress. Director JS Kesar said everyone experiences stress, especially during exams, but how they respond to it can have a positive or negative effect.— TNS
