Mussoorie, January 10
Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar along with his wife Dr Anjali, daughter Sara and son Arjun was greeted with a fresh spell of snowfall as he reached Mussoorie today.
Tendulkar reached the house of his friend and former business partner Sanjay Narang around 5 pm. it is not yet known whether he went to the Dahlia Bank, a property which has been in dispute and is rumoured to have been owned by Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin has denied of any such purchase and any business partnership in the said property.
Fans, who were enjoying snowfall, rushed to catch a glimpse of the ace cricketer but he did not come out of the house at Bothwell Bank. Sachin usually visits Mussoorie during New Year and this is his first visit this year to the town. Business community at the Char Dukan is elated as it would mean increase in their business as Sachin fans start making beeline to Mussoorie to meet him in person.
According to Mohammad Tahir, a local resident from Mussoorie, it is a sweet coincidence that whenever Sachin has visited the town, snowfall was witnessed on most of the occasions in the past. It is not known how many days Sachin will stay here. Meanwhile, the snow spell in the town was brief and with the weather still on the inclement side, the Met department has forecasted rain and snowfall in the next 24 hours.
