A soldier shot himself dead at a camp in Samba district on Tuesday.

The police said Sepoy Bahadur Thappa Mager was on guard duty when he shot himself with his service rifle in the Bari Brahmana area.

“He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead,” a police officer said. — IANS
