Viswanathan Anand was engaged in a 145-move marathon draw on a day three players, including Pentala Harikrishna, shared the lead after Round 3 of the Tata Steel Chess India. World No. 3 Shakhriyar Mamedyarov of Azerbaijan, current World Cup winner Levon Aronian and India No. 2 Harikrishna shared the lead with two points apiece. Four players, including world rapid champion Anand, follow the pack of leaders with 1.5 points.

Umesh, Bumrah, Kuldeep rested for third T20I

Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav were rested for the third and final T20I against West Indies to keep them in the “best physical condition” for the tour of Australia. Punjab seamer Siddarth Kaul was included in the squad for the final T20I to be held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. The Indian team members are likely to arrive here on Saturday. Meanwhile, the West Indies players will have a training session under the lights tomorrow evening. India begin their tour of Australia with the opening T20I at Brisbane on November 21.
