Asked about the impromptu dance moves at the stadium, captain Virat Kohli said: “You’d have to ask Rishabh (Pant). He came up with it... It felt good, it was very easy. But Pujara couldn’t do even that, so you can see how simple he is”.
Celebrations for the Indian team didn’t end at the stadium—prompted by fans, the team danced their way into the hotel lobby.
India won their Australia series. Pujara scored a staggering 521 runs in seven innings, helping India clinch their first test series victory in Australia.
