Santokh Singh Bumrah, the grandfather of Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah, drives an auto-tempo to earn a living, a TV channel has reported.
Santokh Singh, 84 years old, lives in Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand after moving here from Ahmedabad after the death of his son (Jasprit’s father).
Santokh sold his business interests in Ahmedabad and decided to start a new transport business in Uttarakhand, but the new venture did not flourish.
Santokh said he’s extremely proud of his grandson. “I wish I could embrace him.”
